This gallery tells the story of the natural history and biodiversity on the islands, with a more traditional 'look and feel' inspired by Victorian collecting, the refurbished central case and the taxidermy wall. The focus is on the birdlife (told through the rich taxidermy collection), terrestrial fauna and flora, with changeable displays in the central case.
Over the last week, the collection has been cross-examined to assess and select the items for each display case, that help to tell the story of the islands.
