Update from Stepnell

Stepnell have been progressing with the works to the Town Hall and Offices and would like to thank everyone for their understanding and cooperation while they carry out the enabling works.

The Town Hall floor has been removed to uncover a perfect, sandy surface below. Information boards have been attached to the units at the back of the Town Hall.

Next as part of the removal works, Stepnell will begin to demolish the ground floor, including removing the floor in the old offices next to the Town Hall the week commencing 11th November 2024. This will generate some daytime noise from within the building, however, they will endeavour to be as conscientious as possible and anticipate this type of work continuing for 4 weeks.
